We are not a single-truck outfit working out of a backyard. Delta runs depots at Heathwood, Burpengary, Virginia, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba.

How quickly can you get a heavy tow truck to me?
From the closest of our six depots. Metro Brisbane jobs are typically on scene inside 45 minutes, and we give you a real ETA on the phone rather than a guess. Regional work along the Warrego, the Bruce or the M1 takes longer, and we tell you honestly how long before you commit.
What size vehicles can you actually tow?
Anything from a light commercial up to a fully loaded road train. Our heavy units are rated above 23 tonnes GVM and we run a rotator for recoveries that a standard tow truck cannot attempt — rollovers, off-road extractions and jobs where the vehicle has to be lifted rather than dragged.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
The price you agree to on the phone is the price on the invoice. We do not add surcharges for time of day, equipment or distance after the fact. If something on site changes the job, we tell you before we proceed, not afterwards.
Are you accredited and insured?
Yes. Delta Heavy Towing is TruckSafe accredited and NHVR compliant, and we carry full public liability and goods-in-transit cover. If your insurer or your client needs certificates, ask and we will send them through.
Can you handle permits for oversize and over-dimensional loads?
We do it every week. That covers NHVR permits, route surveys, pilot and escort vehicles, curfew planning and the compliance paperwork. You tell us the dimensions and where it has to go, and we manage the rest.
